Where to start on my about me page? I would like to start by saying that I am a child of Deaf parents, and because my parents were born Deaf my first language is Sign Language. I am fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and am a CODA (which stands for Child Of Deaf Adult). Most people don’t know that about me.
I’m a good Mom, yes I said that even though I make mistakes… A Best Friend, Sister, Sister-in-law, a Down to Earth Aunt (if I say so myself, lol), Significant Other, Awesome Friend, Dog Owner, and a Dependable Kind Person.
In my life hope is the main ingredient. It helps keep me going, making all things possible even if, or when, things seem impossible. After all, the word “impossible” really says “IM-possible”.
Don’t get me wrong… this is not easy on certain days, that’s for sure. Some days I am way more hopeful than others. I believe that with some hope and with some Tapping, anything is possible. And I mean that.
Why Tapping?
Tapping has helped me to Tap my way off of the emotional roller coaster of life, overwhelm, anger and anxiousness that comes along with it from time to time. Craziness keeps coming to mind as I write this because I was really losing my emotions, mental health, and well being. My thoughts were seriously consumed with fear at some points in my life. I really do not know what I would of done without Tapping. Tapping has had a profound impact on me in all aspects of my life and my mental health.
When I started to use tapping I noticed that my emotions were a lot more manageable than they were before. I also had less fear so that I could think more clearly when feeling highly upset, overwhelmed and feeling lost.
I had my own Tapping Practitioner to work through my emotional roller coaster of emotions. Not only did I work with her during the rough times in my life, I chose to work with her during the good times to maintain a good emotional and mental state over the last seven years. Like maintenance to fine tune myself, so that I was better equipped to handle things when needed.
I am currently in the Transformational Tapping Certification Mentoring program. I feel it makes me a better Tapping Practitioner to be able to go to someone with such great experience to work on my own emotional needs, emotions and anything else that might pop up. SO you see how much I believe in Tapping!? After working with Marti, my own Tapping Practitioner, I decided to get certificated by her Tapping Certification program.
Tapping has helped me on so many different levels in such enormous ways. That’s why I chose to become certified in “Emotional Freedom Technique,” “EFT” or otherwise know by its nickname “TAPPING”.
After years of helping people tap on my own. I wanted to be certified and I did just that. I am super proud of that by the way (:
If you would like to work with me, please…
The Transformational Tapping Certification Program
I have always felt that sometimes in life we need some type of coaching, or coach, and/or help in many different forms. There is nothing wrong with helping ourselves first and then asking for the help when we need or want some guidance from the outside.
I was helping myself and still heavily getting lost in my emotions. I felt like I was all over the map. Then I realized after doing my own self-help, reading a lot of books, researching anything I thought would help me and exhausting myself that I needed some assistance to help myself feel better. And out of that search I found a great mentor and accountable partner. Her name is Marti.
